What should I expect to accomplish from The Savvy Prospector Course?

If you commit to and complete
the 12-week program:

• You will become the agent of choice among your friends and will be referred to your friends’ friends on a regular basis.

• Your past clients will love you and will know how to reach you when they or their friends have a real estate need.

• You will look forward to and be comfortable meeting new people and will know how to inspire them to think of you when they need a real estate agent.

• You will have a plan in place to stay in touch with your social network, casual acquaintances, backburner prospects and past clients.

• You will be a master at getting good expired listings and will know how to get them sold so they don’t expire again.

In short, you will have developed the knowledge, skills and habits necessary to implement and maintain an effective prospecting business model, for life.

How much time will
I have to devote to this?

The Savvy Prospector is an intensive program and will require dedication to get the most out of it. The first month will be the most labor intensive as we put the building blocks in place with four major projects. After that, you should strive to spend an hour a day (most days) on the program. Although the program officially begins on August 1st, we’ll begin ramping up in mid-July for those who want to get a head start.

Can you give me an idea
of what the program looks like?

During the first month, we will focus on building/rebuilding and then connecting / reconnecting with your Sphere of Influence (or SOI). You will create your contact database, choose a contact management system, write an effective announcement / reconnection letter and create an SOI business plan. We will meet every Saturday morning via teleconference for detailed instructions on that week’s projects and assignments, and to answer your questions. Occasionally we’ll have a guest speaker in a separate teleconference.

During the second month, we’ll focus on pursuing and attracting business from strangers. You’ll also begin implementing your SOI business plan, as well as enhancing it to include activities specifically directed to people you don’t yet know. We will continue meeting on Saturdays.

During the third month, Borino, the expired listings guru, will take over and guide you step-by-step through his XPlus Expired Listings program. You’ll also continue to follow your business plan, so that by the end of the 12 weeks, Savvy Prospecting becomes a habit.

You will receive activity and project assignments on a regular basis, via email and on the Savvy Prospector Members Only forum. You will be encouraged to ask questions about the assignments and to share your successes and challenges with the group. All teleconferences will be recorded so you can listen to them even if you miss the live meeting.

How is your program different
from the other prospecting
training programs out there?

The primary difference between The Savvy Prospector philosophy and that of the other prospecting programs is that we will show you how to attract business to you, instead of aggressively asking for it. We won’t ask you to change your personality to meet your real estate production goals; in fact, we’ll show you how to be more successful than you ever dreamed by simply being yourself and staying in your comfort zone. We believe that selling real estate can and should be the most enjoyable career you’ve ever had and that “the more fun you have selling real estate, the more real estate you will sell!”

Our long-term goal for you is that the methods and philosophies you learn in The Savvy Prospector become second nature to you so that in the future, you’ll effectively prospect every day… without even realizing you’re doing it. Once your methods and systems are in place, you’ll always have a full pipeline, working fewer than 30 hours a week.
